More Sit
She fell over a few seconds later.
Katy rolled over for her parents today! Other than that, she is one exhausted baby. We didn't go to the daycare today. This morning, she woke up early all by herself. After gulping down a full bottle, she needed a nap. So far she has taken 3 naps, each was about 3 hours long. She has spent all day napping!

Sit
She can't really sit by herself yet. Notice how she supports herself.
The teachers at the daycare told us that she rolled over yesterday and many times today. She chowed down more solid food as well. It is amazing to see how fast she grows.

Bloody Mary At The End Of The Day
It's carrot. Katy is getting better at swallowing.
Today was Katy's first day at the daycare. She did pretty well; she managed to show her teachers how she liked to be held constantly. The teachers also noted that she ate an entire jar of sweet potato!

Ride
It is very fun and scary for a baby girl to ride on her daddy's shoulders. So far, Katy has managed to lick her daddy's hair ("Is she drooling on me?"), pull his ears ("Ouch!"), when riding on his shoulders. She loves it!

Katy is now 2. According to Chinese, you are one at birth and gain one every Chinese New Year. Katy received her one and only red envelope from her grandma.

Feeding
It's a mixture of apple and rice paste. Katy doesn't know how to swallow yet. Beside homemade stuff, we have also tried Gerber oatmeal cereal. Same thing happened, so it is not her mom's cooking.

Ernst
Katy's mom found the black onesie on eBay. All the family members agree that she probably should return to workforce to support her eBay hobby. In the meantime, Katy's dad thinks she looks like Ernst Stavro Blofeld, especially with her holding the white burp cloth like that.
UPDATE: Her grandma suggested that Katy looked more like Kojack than Blofeld. Little did she know that Telly Savalas played more characters than just Kojack. :-)
But we all know Donald Pleasance was the best Blofeld.

Reading
"Harold and the Purple Crayon."
She also loves "Oh My Oh My Oh Dinosaurs!" We bought a few black-and-white books, but she didn't care much for them. Later we showed her "Happy Baby Colors" and she loved it; we think it was because there was a picture of a baby on every other page and who doesn't like to look at baby pictures?
