Rogaine: Infant Formula

We tried out that new infant formula hair tonic the other day. As you can see, It worked even better than expected.

I think we'll use it until she grows dreadlocks.

Closer

Come closer, so I can lick you!

Katy had her four-month checkup today. Big girl still. All at 95th or 97th percentile. Big in proportion. At this point, she has basically outgrown her 3-6M clothing and moving onto 6-9M items. This has made her mom very nervous, because last year she bought quite a few 6-12M summer outfits. At the rate Katy is going, she will outgrow those by June, and we all know it is HOT in August in Sacramento. We are very grateful to receive quite a few 6-9M warm clothing from family and friends. Otherwise, she would be wearing those summer clothes that her mom bought now!

Katy behaved nicely at the checkup until she was receiving the shots. She gave the doctor the "6-month stare" (that is what the doc said). I guess we are near the end of her social phase and going into the separation anxiety phase pretty soon. Sigh.

Erik The Red

We actually have two cats; not that it matters here. Anyway, Katy is growing some interests in the cats. She would study and smile when Wallace the blue/gray cat comes by. Erik for some reason would not approach Katy; he would, however, flop down right in front of you when you are walking and carrying the baby in your arms. Not very safe.

New Toy

Katy got this Step & Play Piano just recently. Since she can't walk yet, she doesn't know that there is a music keyboard under her feet (plus the batteries are out). We have been lucky enough to receive a lot of hand-me-down toys from family friends. It helps to keep the costs down. We will let you know in 18 years if she actually costs a quarter of a million according to USDA.
